Screen Printing Chemicals
Quality screen printing chemicals are essential for successful screen printing. Whether you are a DIY printer, screen print out of your basement/garage or run a large production screen printing shop, Lawson has the right screen printing cleaning chemicals for you. Lawson's screen print chemicals are the best options for every stage of printing - from pre-press, on-press color changes, to screen reclaiming, get quality screen printing chemicals shipped the same day.
There are four (4) main categories of screen print chemicals:
Pre-Press Chemicals - This screen printing chemical category helps prepare screen printing frames and mesh for emulsion coating, exposure and on-press manual and automatic screen printing. The traditional screen printing chemicals include Mesh Degreaser, Water Based Blockout and Ulano Mesh Prep.
Press Wash - These screen print chemicals clean up and remove plastisol ink and water-based ink from wood and aluminum screen printing frames. Screen printers can use press washes during the screen reclaiming process and while on-press for color changes. Popular Lawson press washes include PW-305 and PW-485.
Ink Degradents - Use ink degradents when cleaning your screen printing frames after manual or automatic printing. Lawson's ink degradent screen printing chemicals are best for removing plastisol, graphic and water based screen printing ink from your screens and mesh. Environmentally friendly, soy-based screen printing chemicals are available. For t shirt printing, popular options include LSP ID-701 Ultra Wash, ID-360 Ink Degradent & Stain Remover and ID-200 Soy Based Ink Degradent. Lawson's One-Step Dip Tank Solution is a concentrated dip tank chemical that functions as an ink degradent, stencil remover and mesh degreaser.
Reclaiming Chemicals - These screen printing reclaim chemicals allow screen printing frames to be cleaned and reused for the next screen print job. Stencil Remover strips and melts emulsion from frames and mesh so the screen printing frame can be used again. Use a Haze & Stain Remover to eliminate ghost images that can remain in the mesh. Popular screen printing reclaiming chemicals include SR-45, HR-2020 Haze & Stain Remover or HR-2001 Haze and Image Remover (for bad haze/ghost images left in the screen printing frame mesh).
