    This Laser-to-Screen (LTS) exposure unit is a high resolution direct laser imaging combined with a built in exposure unit. Designed to efficiently image and expose screen printing frames up to a maximum size 25” x 36” without vacuum or film positives, this LTS (laser-to-screen) also eliminates the use consumable ink, tubes, filters, pumps and other maintenance items found in all ink jet systems.

    The LTS images and exposes screens in about 90 seconds. Combined with Lawson’s Ajax-Developer (link to Ajax-D), you reduce operator fatigue and error. A single operator can image, expose and develop/wash out a screen by only touching the screen printing frame twice.

    By using high powered lasers for placing the image onto the screen and simultaneous burning/exposing the screen, this LTS unit eliminates the need for expensive consumables. There is no special CTS ink to buy. By eliminating consumables, you will not be throwing out empty ink bottles, film positive packaging, used filters and dumping waste ink down the sink. Your screen printing shop can advance its “green” and recycling goals by reducing the amount you throw away and send to the landfill.

    Minimal maintenance of this laser-to-screen (LTS) unit means no fluid pumps to replace, no nozzle checks or print head maintenance. There are no print heads to worry about clogging and no endless nozzle checks.

    The LTS system works with all standard aluminum screen printing frames, Newman Roller Frames, retensionable frames and the M&R Tri-Lock System.
