FastCOLOR™ is a pretreatment that is applied just like our normal pretreatment. It does not work with white ink, but on light colors garments where there is no white, it GREATLY improves the color brilliance and washability of the print. You will have a hard time telling the image has been washed!

Application: Adjust the sprayer nozzle to spray a solid mist but one that doesn't instantly soak the garment. Apply FastCOLOR™ to one section at a time with even strokes. 
You will want to apply a total of two even layers to the entire print area. Keep in mind, the amount of pretreatment applied will depend on the garment color. The darker the garment color, the more pretreatment is required. For White garments, only a light application is needed. Black garments may need a thick, damp coat.
Preparations: Using FastCOLOR Pretreatment is very similar to using FastINK Pretreatment #1 for dark garments. Before using, clean out your current sprayer or use a new sprayer. To clean your sprayer, fill the resevoir with hot ware, and spray until clear water sprays out. Once the sprayer is clean, fill with FastColor.
Curing Pretreatment:When using a heat transfer press to dry this pretreatment. DO NOT use a Teflon sheet or silicone treated parchment paper to protect the garment and DO NOT clamp the press tight. Simply lower the head to set on top of the garment and use a plain paper (or non-silicone treated parchment) as a protective sheet. Press the shirt for 10 seconds at 320°F. Remove the pretreatment paper. Press the shirt for an additional 10 seconds. On medium garment colors you may have to press for an additional 5-10 seconds for a complete dry. Wash test must be completed for best results.
Curing Finished Printer: Fully printed shirts must be heat cure at 330°F (165°C) for at least 60 to 180 seconds (depending on the shirt color) with a heat transfer press, using medium to heavy pressure with silicone treated parchment paper cover; heat transfer paper; or for glossy print, a Teflon sheet. You can also use a conveyor dryer with multiple passes through short tunnel. Wash test must be completed for best results.
Handling: Occasional use of this product can be done without personal protective equipment. For continued application use rubber gloves and vapor mask for user comfort and protection. USE ADEQUATE VENTILATION WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT.
Storage: Keep tightly capped in a cool, 50-100°F (19-38°C) area.
Disposal: In accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Consult MSDS.
Washability: Wash garment inside out in cold water using a delicate setting on dryer.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
FastCOLOR™ acts as a primer by preventing inks from being completely absorbed by the garment fibers. If you soak the shirt with pretreatment, the fibers will be so saturated that the ink can not bind at all. This will cause the ink to wash out or fade very quickly. Several test shirts may be required before the amount of pretreatment needed is perfected.
